Hi! We are Brett & Taylor Akins, and we’re glad you found our page!

We are the founders of Be Sanctified, and our goal is to educate, prepare, excite, protect and help sanctify others in the Vocation of Marriage. 

Do we have it all figured out? Nope, not at all! We are newly married ourselves, but that’s the point - we never saw people of faith post their journey through the ups and down marriage so we thought, “HEY we could be those people.”

As Bl. Charles of Austria said, “Now, we must help each other get to Heaven.” 

SO...Let’s help each other navigate through all the things of Marriage.

We will share stories of men and women from all walks of life. You’ll hear a bit of everything - from single people navigating the dating world to engaged couples preparing for marriage to newly married couples learning how to figure it out to experienced couples like my grandparent’s tell you to “pick your battles.” (Tay is still learning that one lol)

You’ll get the REAL parts of marriage. The messy and broken, joyful and beautiful and everything in between. We don’t sugar coat things over here so buckle up and join the Be Sanctified community to take the journey with us!
